Change Pitch

Transpose up to an octave either way, with cent-level fine tuning. Tempo stays the same unless you turn that off.

About the Change Pitch

Change the key of a song to match your vocal range or instrument, or retune a recording that is slightly sharp or flat. Each semitone is one step on a piano keyboard; 12 semitones make an octave.

Fine tune in cents (hundredths of a semitone) to correct recordings made at 432 Hz or other tunings. The length of the audio stays the same.

How to use the Change Pitch

  1. Add an audio file.
  2. Move the Semitones slider or click a preset such as +2 or −5.
  3. Use Fine tune for small corrections, then play the preview.
  4. Choose a format and click Export.

Frequently asked questions

How do I change the key of a song?

Count the semitones between the original and target key. For example, C to D is +2 and C to A is −3. Set that value and export.

How do I convert 440 Hz music to 432 Hz?

Set Fine tune to −32 cents. That lowers A4 from 440 Hz to about 432 Hz.
